3 Reasons to Purchase a Mitsubishi SUV

3 Reasons to Purchase a Mitsubishi SUV

If you’re in the market for a new SUV, there’s no better choice than a Mitsubishi. Although the Mitsubishi brand prides itself on retaining lifelong customers, there are many SUV owners looking to switch to another brand or shoppers who are looking for their first SUV. There are many reasons why someone looking to switch from a competitor or making their first purchase should go with a Mitsubishi SUV over any other vehicle make. Read on to discover why. Best in Class Warranties Mitsubishi SUVs like the Outlander, Eclipse Cross, and Outlander Sport have the best warranties in their class and is something that the competition can not measure up to. For example, the whole vehicle warranty on the 2019 Outlander covers you for 60 months or 60,000 miles while similar warranties for vehicles like the 2019 Chevy Equinox and 2019 Ford Escape only cover you for 36 months or 36,000 miles. The news gets even better from there. The powertrain warranty on the Outlander covers you for 120 months or 100,000 miles while the powertrain warranty on a vehicle like the Equinox or Escape will only cover you for 60 months or 60,000 miles. Lastly, the anti-corrosion warranty will cover you for 84 months, while the same warranty on the Equinox and Escape will only cover you for 72 and 60 months, respectively. Roadside assistance with the 2019 Outlander is also superior to its competitors. There is no mileage limitation on the 2019 Outlander’s roadside assistance duration while both the Equinox and Escape cap you at 60,000 miles. Each of Mitsubishi’s warranties is superior to those of its two major competitors. Interior and Exterior Features There are many features available in Mitsubishi SUVs that are not available in their competitors. Let’s continue to examine to the 2019 Outlander versus its competitors, the 2019 Chevy Equinox, 2019 Ford Escape, and 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. With the Outlander, you have the ability to add optional fog lights, while these are not available in the Equinox or Santa Fe. In addition, the Outlander comes standard with heated rearview mirrors, but heated mirrors are not available on either the Equinox, Escape, or Santa Fe. The 2019 Outlander has a standard third row of seats, but this is not available in the Equinox, Escape, or Santa Fe. Perhaps most importantly for long trips, the Outlander has standard Automatic Climate Control which is not available in the Equinox or Santa Fe. It’s clear to see that the 2019 Outlander stands head and shoulders above its competition when it comes to some very important exterior and interior amenities. Price The last area where the Outlander outperforms its competitors is perhaps the most important one: price. The 2019 Outlander ES 2.4 FWD comes in at a base price MSRP of $24,695. This is about $1,000 less than both at the 2019 Chevy Equinox LS FWD which comes in at $25,800 and the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SE 2.4 FWD which comes in at $25,500. It comes in at nearly $2,000 less than the 2019 Ford Escape SE FWD which comes in at $26,500 MSRP.   It’s easy to see that the Mitsubishi Outlander bests its competition in the areas of warranties, features, and price. Many Mitsubishi SUVs provide a similar advantage over their competitors, so there are many reasons to choose a Mitsubishi SUV over a model from another manufacturer. If you’re interested in learning more about the Outlander, Eclipse Cross, Outlander Sport, or any of the other models available from Mitsubishi, visit Peruzzi Mitsubishi at 130 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills, PA. Get Your Car Ready For Fall

Get Your Car Ready for Fall

When the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter as summer moves into autumn, the most important thing you can do is get your car ready for fall. In addition to being more cautious while driving on wet leaves, there are a few things you should do to take care of your car to prepare for the fall season. These will also better prepare you for the inevitable winter season that's right around the corner. Check Your Brakes and Tires It's crucial that you check you make sure your vehicle's brakes and tires are in working order due to the somewhat hazardous conditions of the autumn season and its wet leaves. This is especially true in Fairless Hills and other areas in eastern Pennsylvania, where there are many trees and leaves can sometimes cover the roads. Brakes and tires that are new or in good condition are vital for being able to stop in time or control your vehicle in hazardous conditions. At Peruzzi Mitsubishi, we'll inspect your brakes and tires as part of your scheduled maintenance and recommend any service that needs to be completed. Check Your Vehicle's Battery Colder weather can make it difficult to start a battery that's on its last legs or is not functioning properly. It's a good idea to look under your hood for any signs of corrosion on the battery terminals or loose connections. You don't want to be stuck out in the cold with a dead battery waiting for help to arrive. You can also take your vehicle to a service center and ask them to complete a battery inspection. A trained technician can make sure your battery is in good working condition and can recommend a replacement or repair to get you on your way and give you peace of mind. Check Your Vehicle's Fluid Levels Transmission, brake, and power steering fluids are very important for maintaining your vehicle. Make sure these are topped off and that all these systems are functioning properly. This can be included as part of regular maintenance and can be remedied very easily. Another fluid that you shouldn't neglect is windshield washer fluid. Often, drivers don't realize they are running low or completely out until they really need it. This is especially important as the fall season turns into winter. You don't want to find out your fluid has run out when you need to clear your windshield of salt or ice. Make sure your windshield washer fluid is topped off before you need to use it. Make Sure Your Car's HVAC System is Working Properly Properly heating and cooling your car is critical for maintaining your comfort while driving. Your probably have not used the heating side of your HVAC system all summer, so it's a good idea to make sure it's working before you start to need it in the fall. In addition to your comfort, making sure your HVAC system is functioning properly is also essential for your safety. When your windshield fogs up in the fall, it can cause serious visibility issues if your system isn't quickly able to dissipate it. This can make driving dangerous both for yourself and your passengers and for others with whom you have to share the road. Check Your Tire Pressure Tire pressure is an important aspect of your vehicle to stay on top of when the weather starts turning cold. For the most accurate reading, you should check your tire pressure when the tires are cold and the car has not been driven for a while. Even driving a short distance can cause your tires to heat up slightly and give you an inaccurate reading. Tire pressure decreases with temperature change so you may find that you need to fill up your tires with some air. Maintaining the recommended tire pressure can help make your vehicle more fuel efficient and allow your tires to last longer. If you have any questions about the tips above, you can visit the experts at Peruzzi Mitsubishi for help. Our service experts can inspect every aspect of your vehicle and make sure it's ready for the fall season. There are many things to get done in preparation of the season change, but a maintenance appointment with Peruzzi Mitsubishi's service department will go a long way towards solving these issues. Mitsubishi Super All Wheel Control Technology

Mitsubishi Enhances Its All-Wheel Drive Technology

For decades, Mitsubishi has been at the forefront of progressive automotive technology. The latest chapter in that story is the advancement of their All-Wheel Drive Technology. First installed in 2007, this new-and-improved version is now available on Mitsubishi's 2018 Eclipse Cross and Outlander models. So what are the precise benefits of this new tech? Basically, computer controls now enable traditional all-wheel-drive to blend traction control, vehicle stability and predictive handling functions all at once. It provides a special mix that activates the vehicle’s all-wheel drive, stability control, antilock brakes and active stability control to most effectively navigate difficult terrain such as snow, rain, and gravel. Mitsubishi’s engineers could break it down for you in excruciating detail, but the simplest explanation is that the torque between the vehicle’s front and rear wheels, both right and left, are activated in a smart fashion to better handle tricky driving conditions. Then the car’s brakes take hold via an electronically-controlled coupler mechanism. End result? A much more secure driving experience. This Super All-Wheel Control Technology (S-AWC) is just the first iteration from Mitsubishi: another two-motor version will be offered shortly for hybrid models of their vehicles.  Leave it to the experts at Mitsubishi to keep furthering safety technology for their customers, and putting other auto manufacturers on notice. Super All-Wheel Control Technology is merely one important reason to consider Mitsubishi for your next vehicle. There are plenty more, all of which you can discover for yourself at Peruzzi Mitsubishi. If you're looking for a new Outlander or Eclipse Cross equipped with S-AWC, you can take one for a test drive at Peruzzi Mitsubishi. We also have a huge selection of other new vehicles including the Mirage, Mirage G4, and new Outlander PHEV. Stop in to Peruzzi Mitsubishi at 130 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills, PA and learn more about any of Mitsubishi's outstanding models.

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander vs 2018 Ford Escape

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander vs 2018 Ford Escape

When it comes to purchasing an affordable new SUV, things can get a little overwhelming. Currently, two models are competing for buyer attention: the 2018 Ford Escape and the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. At first glance, they may seem pretty much alike, but here's why the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is a much smarter choice. The 2018 Outlander is available for purchase or lease from Peruzzi Mitsubishi. For starters, the Outlander is much roomier than the Escape. With third-row seating, it comfortably seats seven while the Escape doesn’t offer a third row and only seats five. You’ll also enjoy plenty of standard interior features, like a 7-inch touchscreen, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth, voice controls, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control and heated side mirrors (for starters) – many of which you’ll have to pay extra for on the Escape. And when opt for the upgraded the SE trim package in the Outlander, you can access a top-of-the-line infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’d have to upgrade to a much more expensive version of the Escape to get luxury extras like that. With many advanced safety features like forward-collision mitigation, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander was rated as a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. The IIHS did not rate the new Ford Escape as a top safety pick. The Outlander also gets better gas mileage (25 city/30 hwy) than its competitor, the Escape. Not to mention, a hybrid power option that can improve your fuel efficiency even further. Mitsubishi offers some of the best warranties in the entire automotive market and the Outlander is no exception. The 2018 Outlander comes with Mitsubishi's leading 10-year/10,000 mile powertrain warranty compared to only a 5-year one offered by Ford with the Escape. Your SUV choice is simple: the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is a better value than the 2018 Ford Escape, with more of what you want in everyday comfort, efficiency, and luxury. Get an up-close look at Peruzzi Mitsubishi and see for yourself how the Outlander can make your driving life a real pleasure. 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV vs 2018 Kia Niro

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV vs 2018 Kia Niro

More environmentally-conscious drivers are opting for plug-in hybrids (PHEV) – and those vehicles are rapidly evolving to combine both energy-efficiency with much better performance and exciting features. Mitsubishi’s 2018 Outlander PHEV is one of the most talked-about new crossover models. You can see it up close at Peruzzi Mitsubishi, but here’s how it stacks up against KIA’s newly-released Niro Hybrid. For starters, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is over a foot longer than the Niro. The Outlander’s design fits the lithium-ion battery pack neatly behind the rear seat. Both of these smart elements mean more interior and cargo space that allow for comfortably bringing friends, family and all kinds of gear along for the ride. Also, the Outlander’s interior ups the plug-in game by featuring heated seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and safety features like adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. No more bare-bones or boring PHEV crossovers! Mitsubishi has given the 2018 Outlander PHEV a Super-All-Wheel Control drivetrain that delivers more power than the Niro’s basic Front-Wheel design. This offers far better handling and more control on any kind of terrain, from city streets to bumpy backwoods roads. The all-wheel-drive platform – plus a larger engine than the Niro – gives the Outlander impressive towing power (up to 1,500 pounds), which makes it a standout in the PHEV crossover category. When it comes to picking a roomy, comfortable plug-in crossover, the choice is simple:  The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a perfect choice. If you want to browse Peruzzi Mitsubishi's full selection of Outlander PHEV vehicles or any of our other model, check out our full inventory of new Mitsubishi vehicles available for residents of Levittown, PA, Trenton, NJ and the surrounding areas. Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross vs Hyundai Tucson

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross vs Hyundai Tucson

They may look similar, but when it comes to choosing between the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and the Hyundai Tucson, there are some critical distinctions you should know. See things up close at Peruzzi Mitsubishi, but for now, here are all the details. Let’s start with comfort. The 2018 Eclipse Cross has specially-designed ergonomics that make driving a true pleasure. The standard heads-up display allows you to check on everything from speed to other warnings without ever losing your line of sight; you won’t find that in the Tucson. On rainy or snowy days, the wipers on the 2018 Eclipse Cross adjust their speed automatically; not so with the Tucson, which require constant manual adjustments. Same with the headlights. The Eclipse Cross has sensitive light sensors that automatically switch between high and low beams as needed. You won’t find that convenience on the Tucson. On the road, the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers an optional Adaptive Cruise Control, which automatically alters your speed without constantly having to adjust for traffic. That’s a handy feature you don’t get on the Tucson. When it comes to safety features, the Eclipse Cross includes standard airbags on all sides, traction control, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and much more. The SEL model of the Cross offers a Multi-View Camera that allows for seeing objects all around, and on a screen. In that regard, the Tucson only provides a beep or light flash when detecting objects within a limited area. When it comes to driving power, the 2018 Eclipse Cross engine generates 33 lbs.-ft. more torque than the Tucson. There’s also a standard CVT (continuously variable transmission) that keeps the engine operating at its most efficient. On that same note, the Eclipse Cross gets better fuel mileage than the Tucson. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has also been designed with a wheelbase that offers a much smoother and more stable ride than the Tucson – especially off-road on tough terrain. So while on the outside, the Hyundai Tucson may look similar to the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, the differences are significant. Stop by Peruzzi Mitsubishi for an up-close look and, more importantly, a test drive. You’ll see why the Eclipse Cross is the smart choice. If you're looking for a different new Mitsubishi vehicle, browse Peruzzi Mitsubishi's full lineup of new Mitsubishi vehicles available in the Levittown, PA and Trenton, NJ areas.
